1 Dead After Multiple Vehicle Crash in Downtown Syracuse By Spectrum News Staff Syracuse PUBLISHED 5:23 PM ET Mar. 09, 2021 PUBLISHED 5:23 PM EST Mar. 09, 2021 SHARE One person is dead after a multi-car crash in downtown Syracuse Tuesday morning. According to Syracuse Police, it happened just after 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of West Fayette and West streets. Police said a car was speeding down West Fayette and hit several vehicles stopped at a red light. Multiple people were taken to the hospital and a 49-year-old man died from his injuries. The victim s name isn t being released right now. Investigators are still looking into the crash. ....
