Manzo is also charged with two counts of fourth-degree stalking, stemming from the 2017 incident, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni.
He had already faced federal charges alongside John Perna, as outlined last June by the U.S. Attorney s Office.
Perna identified as a soldier in the Lucchese crime family by federal prosecutors had been sent to attack Cantin in 2015 at a strip mall in Passaic County, where Perna and another man beat him with a slap jack, according to a criminal complaint.
In federal court, prosecutors had said that Manzo hired the reputed mobster to carry out the assault in exchange for a lavish wedding reception at the Brownstone, the venue that Manzo partly owns in Paterson. ....

Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo’s ex-husband has been indicted as an alleged accomplice in the 2017 home invasion that left her and her new beau beaten, tied up and robbed, Monmouth County prosecutors announced Tuesday.
Tommy Manzo, who previously faced raps for hiring a Mafioso to beat up Dina’s new spouse, has been indicted on charges, including robbery and stalking, prosecutors said.
The 56-year-old turned himself in without incident and will be held pending an appearance at Monmouth County Superior Court, officials said in a news release. ....

HOLMDEL, NJ - A Monmouth County Grand Jury has indicted a Franklin Lakes man who was previously named as an accomplice in the 2017 home invasion of Real Housewives Of New Jersey star Claudine Dina Manzo and her then-fiance David Cantin in Holmdel, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Thomas Manzo, 56, along with James Mainello, 53, of Bayonne, has been indicted for his role as an accomplice to first-degree robbery, second-degree burglary, second degree aggravated assault, third-degree aggravated assault, third-degree theft, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and third-degree criminal restraint in connection with the home invasion, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor s Office. ....

LONG BRANCH - A township man who stabbed two victims with a kitchen knife in 2017 was sentenced to eight years in prison Thursday.
Dennismar Andrade, 30, was arrested in February 2017. He allegedly stabbed a sleeping woman and a male victim four days earlier, according to a criminal complaint.
Andrade pleaded guilty to second degree aggravated assault before Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Lourdes Lucas.
He is also subject to three years of parole supervision and is required to serve at least 85% of his sentence in accordance with the No Early Release Act.
The criminal complaint in 2017 alleged he stabbed the woman in the neck and near her ear while she was sleeping in addition to her left thumb when she was later awake and trying to protect her face. It also alleged he stabbed the male victim in the neck before looking through his pants pockets. ....
