Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail (PR GTR) has announced the opening of its Jameson TasteHouse in The Loop complex operated by Aer Rianta International (ARI) at Dublin International Airport Terminal 2.
A first for the brand in travel retail, PR GTR says the store reflects the companyâs commitment to innovating in the channel and continuously re-defining the retail environment.
The outlet features striking wall-displays of the Jameson Original blended Irish Whiskey and brings to life an elevated offering of retail theatre, emphasised the company. Other in-store elements include an original hand-blown stained-glass piece of artwork created by local artist James Earley. ....

Pernod Ricard reports -57% drop in H1 GTR sales; total first-half sales fall -8.9%

Pernod Ricard has reported a -57% drop in global travel retail sales during the first half of the 2020/2021 financial year
(01/07/2020- 31/12/2020).
According to the company, passenger traffic remained in severe decline in H1, leading to sales declines across key brands. This was despite the resumption of domestic travel and increased spend per traveller.
Continued strict cost control was in place in response to the decline, in order to focus on critical business drivers including investment in Hainan.
The drinks group, which reported a total sales decrease of -8.9% during the period to â¬4,985 million/$6,000,000 million, reported positive performance across offshore duty free businesses in Hainan and Jeju. ....

Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail has revealed that Martell is the the first international liquor brand to partner with Alipay and CDFG for the retailerâs 2021 Red Pocket lucky draw.
Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail (PR GTR) has announced a first-ever three-way partnership between itself, Ali

and China Duty Free Group (CDFG).
Beginning in early January, the first project under the new partnership closes in conjunction with Chinese New Year.
