Parks Canada Delays Services Because Of Pandemic » The Coast 89.7 FM


Parks Canada has delayed the launch of most visitor services, including camping, until at least June 1
st because of COVID-19.  
The agency says the measure aligns with those put in place for provincial camping parks on Wednesday.
The Parks Canada delays also cover services at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site and the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in Baddeck.
Parks Canada says access and services will be focused on limited day use of trails and other outdoor settings and green spaces and some washrooms will remain open.
It says, if local visitors choose to travel within their municipality, they should be cautious and stay within the bounds of their knowledge and skill level. ....
