B.C. COVID-19 exposures: These are the latest flights with the coronavirus on board


 
VANCOUVER
The B.C. Centre for Disease Control has added 10 more flights to its list of COVID-19 exposures.
The centre added six flights on Monday and four more on Tuesday. Combined with the six added on Sunday, the latest additions bring the total for the week to 16 so far. 
The newly added flights all took off from or landed at a B.C. airport between May 10 and May 21. Details of the affected flights follow.
May 10: Canadian North flight 5T1500 from Edmonton to Terrace (rows not reported)
May 12: Air Canada/Jazz flight 8402 from Kelowna to Calgary (rows not reported)
May 18: WestJet flight 100 from Vancouver to Calgary (rows 12 to 18) ....

Dramatic drop in coronavirus exposures on B.C. flights added to list last week


 
VANCOUVER
The B.C. Centre for Disease Control added a total of 25 flights with COVID-19 cases on board to its list of public exposures last week, less than half as many as it added the week prior.
The flights either took off from or landed at a B.C. airport between April 29 and May 13, and were added to the list this past week after they were identified as having had COVID-19 exposures.
The BCCDC added five flights to the list on Wednesday, three on Thursday, five more on Friday and none on Saturday. Those 13 flights are in addition to the dozen that had already been added to the list from Sunday to Tuesday.  ....

More flights involving B.C. airports added to COVID-19 exposures list


 
VANCOUVER
More than a dozen additional flights with confirmed cases of COVID-19 on board have been added to the B.C. Centre for Disease Control s list of exposures to the disease.
The BCCDC added eight of the flights to the list Tuesday evening, nine more Wednesday morning, and four more that evening.
Details of the affected flights follow.
Dec. 7: North Cariboo Air flight 1545 from Terrace to Vancouver (rows four to 10)
Dec. 8: Air Canada flight 124 from Vancouver to Toronto (rows 18 to 24)
Dec. 8: Air Canada flight 251 from Edmonton to Vancouver (rows not reported)
Dec. 8: Air Canada/Jazz flight 8081 from Vancouver to Victoria (rows not reported) ....

COVID-19 in B.C.: Vaccinations begin, 21 deaths, 45 schools with exposures, and more

Today marked a milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic for British Columbia.
Vaccinations commenced today with healthcare workers being the first to receive them and the first person in the province to receive a vaccine was residential care aide Nisha Yunus in the Vancouver Coastal Health region. B.C. provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry was in attendance.
The first person in Fraser Health to be immunized was healthcare assistant Linda Latour.
Among the very first people to receive it are those who care for and support B.C. s seniors by getting immunized, they are helping to protect those most vulnerable to COVID-19 and helping us all get one step closer to ending this pandemic,” B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix said in a news release. ....
