McKinley Bank with many years of Human Resources experience and a master’s degree in management from Bellevue University. Kennedy holds both the Professional in Human Resources certification and the Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional certification. Mt McKinley Bank also announced the promotion of Matt Ellis to assistant vice president, Finance. Ellis joined the bank a year ago as the first participant in its Management Associate program. He holds a master’s degree in finance from Northeastern University and served as a Naval Flight Officer in the US Navy prior to moving to Alaska. ....

Although the pipeline, which serves much of the East coast, is now back online, full recovery is expected to take up to several weeks in some areas. Currently from 50-70% of gas stations are out of fuel in the states of North and South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, Florida, and the District of Columbia. Consumer panic buying has largely driven these shortages for gasoline, once news of the pipeline shutdown was widespread. The Army Corps of Engineers announced Wednesday that it has decreased discharges to minimum releases of 1,600 cubic feet per second for the spring. Discharges are expected to remain at 1,600 cubic feet per second through the end of April and into the first week of May. The natural flows will continue to support out-migrating fish. Dworshak will continue to adjust reservoir releases to meet flood control targets and manage the rate of refill. For safety, the public is advised to be aware of the danger associated with fluctuating river flows and elevations.
