(Woodbridge)- A woman is facing major punishment after leaving her children inside of a hot car. Prince William County Police says this all went down last week in Woodbridge as temperatures had soared into the 80s. One of the children used quick thinking and got out of the car, asked another shopper for help, and that person called the police. Authorities were able to rescue his 11-month-old brother from the vehicle. Neither of the boys were hurt. The mother was arrested and charged with two counts of felony child neglect. ....

MANASSAS, VA A $15,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrests and conviction of the suspects in a shooting that killed one man outside the Manassas Mall on April 2. The reward is being offered by the Prince William County Police Department through a partnership with the FBI.
Prince William County Police Chief Peter Newsham announced the reward at a press conference on Tuesday, April 2o. Newsham said that the victim in the shooting, Jahmar Latravern Graves of Baltimore, was working a contact position in the area to support his family. ....

The victim of racist graffiti in a Northern Virginia neighborhood is speaking out and sharing her shock after someone spray-painted the N-word and several other slurs on her property.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - Prince William County Police are investigating after a Woodbridge family found the N-word and other slurs spray-painted on their property Monday.
The family, which FOX 5 agreed not to identify, says they are originally from Nigeria.
A resident noticed the grafitti at the home off Rush Drive while taking out the trash.
The N-word was painted on their garage door, while derogatory words for sex workers were painted on a fence and car. ....
