Vermont Business Magazine Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund (VSJF) announces the selection of the Energy 2021 cohort of the DeltaClime
VT climate economy business accelerator.
Seven early-stage energy companies from across the US and Canada will work with climate economy leaders, industry experts, potential partners and investment professionals over the next three months while completing an intensive curriculum, developed by ecosVC, during online workshops, webinars and mentoring sessions.
The Vermont-based business accelerator kicked off the Energy 2021 program (the fifth cohort for the DeltaClime

Since spring of 2020, the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department has partnered with the Vermont Farm to Plate Network to host the Vermont Wild Kitchen, a Facebook Live cooking show taking place on the third Thursday of each month. March’s episode will feature Abenaki Chef Jessee Lawyer who will prepare traditional Abenaki ingredients with a modern twist. Some wild and local ingredients Lawyer plans on using include deer shank, bear fat, garlic, sumac, and more.
“We’re so grateful for Chef Jessee to join us in the Vermont Wild Kitchen to demonstrate how to create a seasonal meal showcasing Native techniques and ingredients,” said Shane Rogers, Farm to Plate communications manager at the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund. “He brings such a wealth of knowledge to the table and we are excited to be able to help share that to Vermonters around the state.” ....

Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund through its Farm to Plate Initiative, and the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets (VAAFM) have released the Vermont Agriculture and Food System Strategic Plan 2021-2030.
With over 1,500 Vermonters providing input and helping to shape its content over an 18-month period, the Plan lays out a vision, 15 goals, 34 priority strategies, and 276 recommendations for advancing the agriculture and food system in Vermont.
