Six booked for child labour regulations violations July 21, 2021 LALAMUSA: Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Afzal Hayat Tarar said cases have been registered against six accused over child labour act violation last month. Addressing a meeting of District Vigilance Committee for Labor, he said challans of 73 accused were sent to the competent count for paying less to employees than the fixed wage. He said so far, 345 social security cards have been issued to workers in the district. He said labour, health, NADRA, Social Security Department would set up joint campuses at the beginning of the season for the welfare of the workers and cases would be registered against those who do not pay the wages fixed by the Punjab government. ....
