These include 5,712 health workers in the government health set up and rest in the private sector. The district on Thursday received 12,000 doses of Covishield vaccine manufactured by Serum Institute of India. Deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha who received the first batch of vaccine along with DHO Dr Sudhir Chandra Sooda told reporters that vaccination will be held in six centres.
