Pop twin duo Goldlove wants to make music that 'withstands test of time'

“But maybe tomorrow will feel better / I’ll try to write a song or two”
Similar to their latest song “Maybe Tomorrow” inspired by their “quarantine crazies,” pop twin duo JaJa Tong and JoJo Tong have been going through life writing and producing music. Classically trained and playing the piano from the age of four, they now release music inspired by pop, alternative and country/folk genres under their stage name Goldlove.
“[Music] definitely played a major role in shaping our 19 years on this planet,” JaJa said. “Growing up it was something that we had every week, piano lessons, band practice, everything, and that took a lot of time, but for both of us, it’s also something that keeps us going and makes us really happy throughout the day, and it lets us relax.”

College friendship enriched our lives for 49 years

I’m at the stage of my life where I seem to be losing pieces, not gathering new pieces the way I did as a young adult. Somewhere in middle age, I crested a continental divide that started a long slide down a hill of losing parents, in-laws and friends.
I lost my college roommate, Sara Coldren Trego, to cancer in March. That despicable disease stole away a friendship of nearly 49 years.
Sara and I met in the first days of our freshman year at Manchester College (now University) because we were band geeks.
She had played clarinet in high school, switching to bass clarinet at Manchester because the band needed one. I had played alto saxophone in high school, switching to baritone saxophone at Manchester for the same reason. We sat next to each other at the end of the row of our respective sections, the dividing line between clarinets and saxophones.

Younger season seven Molly Bernard on how the show ends.

Molly describes meeting
Younger s leading lady Sutton Foster as one of the biggest pinch-me moments of her career, thanks to a connection dating all the way back to her teenage years.
I actually wrote Sutton a fan letter when I was 14 because I just idolised her so much, Molly said.
She was just so amazing in (the Broadway show)
Thoroughly Modern Millie. She actually wrote back to me with a signed headshot that read “follow your dreams Molly, xoxo Sutton Foster”.
It’s incredible, and she just carried our show so well, Molly said about her co-star. She’s also really just such a weirdo, and she taught me how to crochet while we were on set.
