Subway’s new CEO is moving some corporate staff to an office in the Miami-area where he lives, raising questions about the company’s Milford headquarters.
Subway confirmed it will move an unspecified number of Milford staff south, including managers in marketing, culinary and global strategy. STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) Independence Holding Co. (IHC) on Monday reported fourth-quarter net income of $5.5 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Stamford, Connecticut-based company said it had profit of 37 cents.
The insurance company posted revenue of $119.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $18.9 million, or $1.28 per share. Revenue was reported as $443.9 million.
Independence Holding shares have increased nearly 6% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 26% in the last 12 months.

STAMFORD Elementary and middle school students didn’t have much of a voice in the decision to return to full-time in-person learning, but those in high school are speaking up about the plan to reopen, and the response so far is mixed.
Those who favor a return say they want to regain a sense of normalcy, as well as bolster their education, which they say has been lacking in the every-other-day model.
