Hudson Reporter Hudson County launches mobile vaccination unit × Hudson County launched a new mobile vaccination unit that will serve as a popup clinic in neighborhoods throughout the county. This new resource will allow the Hudson County Vaccine Task Force to bring the COVID-19 vaccine directly to hard-to-reach communities and host onsite vaccination clinics for local businesses and organizations. The unit is a small passenger bus that has been repurposed and outfitted to administer vaccines in the back of the vehicle. “After a long and difficult 15 months, we are finally turning the corner and getting closer every day to ending this pandemic,” said Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise. “But we need to make it abundantly clear that the progress we have made is the direct result of our aggressive vaccination efforts. Hudson Reporter County partners to provide vaccines at Lincoln Park May 13 × The Hudson County Vaccine Task Force and the Hudson Regional Health Commission are partnering with The Islamic Council of Hudson County to bring a pop-up vaccination site to Lincoln Park on Thursday, May 13. The clinic is timed to coincide with Eid al-Fitr, the Muslim holiday marking the end of Ramadan when thousands of Muslims are expected to gather together in the park to break their fast. The mobile clinic will be set up at the entrance to Lincoln Park West near the Little League field from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be open for anyone who lives, works, or studies in Hudson County. ....

The latest data released by the state shows that 51 percent of adults in Hudson County have received at least their first vaccine dose and is reflective of vaccinations administered through the week of April 26. “Hudson County has seen remarkable success in our efforts to identify innovative ways to vaccinate the residents of our community,” Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise said in a statement. ....
COVID-19 vaccine available without appointment at Hudson County Earth Day event Saturday Updated 3:22 PM; The Hudson County Vaccine Task Force and Jersey City will be offering the COVID-19 vaccine at the Hudson County Improvement Authority’s annual Earth Day celebration at Lincoln Park Saturday. The walk-up site does not require an appointment and will be available to all Hudson County residents over the age of 18. The vaccines will be administered by the Jersey City Health Department. The clinic will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lincoln Park near the West Side Avenue entrance or until supplies last. Jersey City residents should bring a photo ID with them. ....
