Carlos Sanson Jr can thank the global pandemic for scoring a dream role in the new show
Bump. The 22-year-old Australian-born Chilean actor landed the part of Santi, a high schooler who suddenly becomes a father when academic Year 11 student Oly Chalmers (Nathalie Morris) gives birth without realising she was pregnant.
It's not the fact he's playing a high school student-turned-father that has Sanson Jr so excited about being part of the show. It's about identifying with a role after years of knockbacks in Australia.
