, lisa boothe along with anita vogel, guy benson and charlie hurt. Welcome to the big weekend show. The big story tonight, donald trump. Very important member of my family, far more than eric or laura and her name is carolina. Make america great again. [cheering] would anyone like to meet luke, her brother? vote for grandpa. That's cute. Trump is grandkids on stage and heartwarming moment a massive rally in north carolina is trump on many issues including the economy and immigration today early voting begins in seven states, new jersey, vermont, oklahoma, rhode island, delaware, indiana and tennessee fox news correspondent alexandria hoff live where trump held his rally today. Impact are writing but this is some scorched crowd but this is a group waiting for the former president for quite some time, he had an event in april rescheduled because of whether so glad to be here today and while the former president touched on an array of issues, the economy was certainly the focus. We will massively cut taxes workers. We will have no tax on tips. [cheering] we will have no tax on overtime. [cheering] no tax on social security benefits for our rate, while americans work and catch up an account on interest rates on credit card debt that 10%. Some pay the five and 30%. Crazy. A lot of people can relate, north carolina, an important step to make in 2016 and 2020 but it's become more competitive and democrats see it as an opportunity. If you asked your vote for kamala harris, conrad we call her conrad. Your voting for more years of brutal job losses, higher taxes, surging prices, falling wages and economic depression and despair. If kamala harris is reelected, she will kill the american dream forever. Trump spoke about what he sees as the economic and say the impact of open borders. I am your border president. [cheering] the border president. [cheering] kamala would be your invasion president in july, and illegal alien border czar harris release, she released them sure, into our country, arrested for assaulting a woman into a public bathroom in charlotte and attempting to rape her and ultimately rape her and hurt her very badly here in wilmington last month, and illegal alien from venezuela brutally stabbed a man to death. This murder came four days after he was arrested for horrible domestic violence but instead of being deported, this criminal alien force released to kill again. Kill again he did. The former president announced here today in wilmington that is reelected, he would and sanctuary cities in the state. The former president confirmed he will not doing a second debate was vice president ha harris. I want to take it to the table. I want to look at this big picture. What you think this election comes down to for voters? i hope it comes down to issues because of it comes to issues, i think donald trump wins and probably pretty heavily because he's the only one talking about the issues. If it comes down to dial or another more his thing democrats and kamala harris want it to be about the it will be a lot harder for donald trump but it's interesting, you listen to them talking about atrocities that are the result of open border because of kamala harris and joe biden and we cringe because we don't like listening to all that is not the normal political rally but if you don't watch fox news, you don't know these stories and what donald trump is up against, the rest of the press is not reporting the news about the issues that should drive people to the polls so he has to talk about it and that's why for a lot of people, that might be the first time they get information about those issues like open border but we could go through the other issues as w well. We seen donald trump make a play for africanamerican voters trying to win, earn their support. I want to look at this when he said about black and hispanic workers hurt by illegal aliens, he said this. It's take a listen with real quick. Jobs and wages of africanamerican workers and hispanic workers taking jobs. They are taking your jobs. Migrants picked up 635,000 jobs plus another seven or 8000 jobs at least that we know of. Here are quote from voters he's trying to reach, undecided black voters, one woman said this, he's still has a business mindset, just handles certain things a little better. One man said he provided more jobs, more opportunities stimulus. Another man said even though trump did make all the right choices, the economy worked better under himself universally these quotes focused on the economy largely believing he is the guy to deliver that so how do you think that play for black voters would work out? we seen this, we've highlighted africanamerican voters in chicago particular and said wait a minute, why are state and federal resources going to the community, illegal migrants instead of us have spoken out time and time again and it was shocking to see but when you hear from those people, it comes down to the economy. How best does the economy work for them? when you talk about undecided voters in general, it's a dwindling number of people. I read where it's as low as 3% so that is the key to the election right there. Collections conduct two margins, we will see if it gives a push in the winning direction. There is this whole in the state of virginia showing harris is up by 47%, trump but 46% so margin of error i believe is the university of mariupol. I wanted you look at the clear politics in virginia, harris is outside of the margin of error, is virginia and play? what does it say about the state of the race? it's is paul and early to the party showing when young and surging 2021 when other posters at him lighting, he won that race so you can maybe cite some credibility however, this full is pretty old in the field before the debate even happened so right now i call it an outlier. Other : showing virginia for competitive and it will go up a little more. I spoke to governor youngman my radio show, he called the state competitive at the presidential level in the senate race there key house races in virginia as well so we will keep an eye on it, is not near the upper echelon of battleground states. It is it comes back into that category, it's a big problem for the democrats. And campaign travel what it looks like in the state of virginia. I want to get to this, harris now accepting the invite for cnn for another debate. The debate last week [cheering] that was fun. [cheering] i'm trying to get another de debate. We'll see. Today nor carolina trump said it's not going to happen. The problem with another debate is it's just too late. Voting has already started. I'd love to in many ways but it's too late. The voting has cast. Why would he set himself up for another ambush? especially something like cnn we know how liberal cnn is. He's not going to get a fair shake and the big picture analysis of debates is the weaker person always wants the debate and proves kamala harris failed to do what she needed to do in the first debate and that's why she wants a second one. She has an opportunity to debate on fox news and she will accept that, or any opportunity to come do interviews here or anywhere she's done one nationally televised interview one with her running mate and has been that candidate for two months so that says a lot. I think trump would be better served saying i'm open to maybe a second debate is she does have a dozen interviews and she can take from this list of douglas and let's see if she can answer a followup and then we will talk about a second debate. Another thing is and i heard bret and martha about ten times, we'd love to host the debate but if you are donald trump and the debate didn't move the needle at all and the moderators are fact checking him but not her, why put yourself through that again? the race is largely unchanged after the first debate so why another? the research center had kamala harris at one 100% positive leading up to the debate and that was reflected. I think it's good i'm sorry, he's done to debate. He debated joe biden and knocked him out of the race. Jampacked hour of the big weekend show coming up including this. Kamala harris laughing. One of kamala harris is surrogates who is asked about this and here is what she said in response. She's a very busy person, vice president as well as candidate. We heard today about these policies. It may not be in the format the media they like and it may not be sitting down doing a oneonone interview but we heard her today talk about her stance on reproductive freedom. So she's very busy and part of the busyness when running for president is answering questions about what you might do if you get elected and one thing that strikes me that i want your thoughts on as a journalist, there's almost a complete, she has memorized answers they've prepared for the debate on and when she's asked similar questions, she gives copy paste the same answers screaming for a followup dig deeper and we haven't seen that federal. If elected, she's going to get a lot busier and then she got to face really tough questions and make really tough decisions but when she sat down for the one interview with a local anchor in philadelphia, he tried a little bit but didn't get anywhere and anyone seen sitting down with her, they are not asking her the top followup questions and it makes you wonder, she's worked with lots of different candidates, did she ever do interviews in her ca career? the amount of media training she's gone through, i guarantee she's sat down with the top media when she ran for president last time, she said a lot of things she now claims she no longer believes with no explanation.
