A small ship washed up on the shore of the Marshall Islands with no crew on it — but with 649 kilograms of cocaine instead.
The 5.4 metre long fiberglass ship was discovered on a beach by Ailuk Atoll on the small island in the Pacific between the Philippines and Hawaii, reported CNN.
The ship was discovered last week by a local resident, Kolby Alred, on Ailuk, reported Radio New Zealand. The ship was too heavy for residents to move onto the beach, and once they investigated, they discovered bricks of cocaine in a large compartment underneath the deck.
