INTERVIEWS | Lorenzo Romar & Kessler Edwards After BYU 76-73 Win
PROVO — BYU basketball was able to contain Pepperdine's dynamic duo of Colbey Ross and Kessler Edwards just enough over 40 minutes Saturday night.
The Cougars weren't so lucky four days later on the back end of the back-to-back scheduling shift.
Ross had 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists, and Edwards added 18 points and six rebounds to help Pepperdine rally to snap BYU's four-game winning streak with a 76-73 matinee victory Wednesday at Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu, California.
Jan Zidek scored 13 points for Pepperdine, and Sedrick Altman supplied 11 points and nine rebounds for the Waves (7-7, 3-2 West Coast).
