Iran Imposes 3-Month Ban on Authorised Bitcoin Mining Facilities Due to Excessive Power Usage

The authorities of Iran are addressing the concerns around power outages plaguing several parts of the country. The process of Bitcoin mining is being banned in Iran till March 6, so that the electricity that goes into facilitating the process is distributed among citizens of the country.
