Welcome back to kron. Morning news. Good morning, everybody. And not off to a bad start even at the coast. Check it out. Our picture coming in from Half Moon Bay. Lots of sunshine to kind of start the day. However. Cloud cover intrusion as expected as we get to the late morning and early afternoon hours there, but certainly soak it some to beat watchers. Theres you can see walking the coast a little alright, heres what we got upstream. You can see the scattered cloud cover intruding. That will be the story today. Kind of setting us up for our story tomorrow, which is one of probably the fairest way saying the scattered showers with some embedded rain. That will be in that as well. Amounts will be modest, though, with all of that. But just enough to kind of keep us moist at the surface there to get after dry midweek, warm one at that 50s in the east bay, 60 going on for antioch at those 50s up north. 48 Half Moon Bay 50. You can see really started gathering as we get to the afternoon hours, particularly there are some breaks worth noting, but a lot of that will develop after sunset. Here it is tomorrow morning. Weve got the rain showers working their magic. So most of the overnight will be uneventful. And then a few hours before dawn for 5 hours or so, got the rain start to work its magic and then kind of another wave moves in. Thats a bit more substantive. This gets us to about 4. 30, in the afternoon. As you can see by the time the rain starts to taper off and we start to punch through some of those clouds and get some breaks. It will be sunday night into monday. No. Still some leftover cloud cover into monday as well. Kind of lingering took in the morning hours. But by the middle of the week, it looks like it goes back to a sunny mode, at least for those inland locations. Heres the lowdown. Today, considerable clouds and mild, although off to a nice start, 70 is for the bay inland and chilly at the coast. Tomorrow weve got scattered showers and rain. We just walk through mild but steady on those temperatures wont feel much different. And then for next week, sun and clouds, mixture of the flow pattern basically is coming in off the coast. So no real big pops with numbers except some lower 80s happening inland and maybe the chance of some sprinkles towards the latter portion of the week. Ahead. So sky conditions will kind of deteriorated a little bit and go more like that by the afternoon. 68 San Francisco, mostly cloudy, mild us to about 70 going on for oakland on that same kind of drill variable clouds to mostly cloudy and 74. Meanwhile, for san jose in all of this keeps those temperatures down lower 70s well inland up in the north bay 70s, upper 60s. Chilly. 64, Half Moon Bay, although theyve been pretty much rocking this morning. Temperature wise, 74. Meanwhile, 4 san jose next few days. Again, scattered showers on sunday. What are you keeping an eye on . Okay, stephanie, were looking kind of an interesting weekend coming up for us now. A quick live shot at half. Moon bay does reveal some scattered clouds making their way, but certainly all nice start here. We much in the way of fog intrusion this morning. Either calm seas as people take a nice little joy walk. And this is probably the time to do it ecause again, cloud cover is expected by the time we get to the late morning turkey for the coast late morning and into the afternoon, a little bit to our Temperature Check for you. We have lots of lower 60s in the east bay freemont. 57 65 for antioch 50s. Meanwhile, up north san carlos jumping at 61. 63 for san jose. Boy, this big storm down there. Yeah, thats right. Norma norma, its a hurricane. Still all that will last a little bit of its in the last hour or so 100 Miles Per Hour winds category 2 storm pretty much of a direct hit over kabul say for today, going to be stormy. I got those winds going on well approaching as hurricane strength. But even around that, it will be 40, 50 mile per hour winds. Heavy rains are projections are about 6 to 7 inches of rain going on just for today. Now, when the system finally makes landfall on the mainland, there you see that mountain chain thats in place. There you have all that tropical moisture and whack. This gives your flash flooding. So theyll be dealing with this probably all next week. And this portion of the country in terms filtering out all of that heavier rains, it becomes a Tropical Storm, as you can see, losing its tropical characteristics pretty quickly. All right. Back on our front, were looking at the rain event for tomorrow. That will be scattered showers. Flow pattern still remains kind of the same. You know, stuff comes in off the pacific in 2 the west coast. Its kind of the same as it would during the dry or drought winter months. Hopefully this year will be like that. And its been nice to get little treats of some light rain showers to keeping us moistened up here at the surface. We do see more coming up stream by the time early the following week gets here. But thats certainly way upstream to know what. Details on that now. What are the numbers look like for today . 68 San Francisco. Thats still pretty good compliments of some early sun mid 60s off towards the coast will do about 70 going on for burlingame. 72 foster city and palo alto in the south bay. Most of the readings approaching the middle 70s. And these are pretty much similar numbers will look at for tomorrow along the east bay shoreline, 70 ish, a lower 70s for tri valley. 71 walnut creek, concord, 71 as well. 70 oakland, 68 richmond, 64 billy. 71 for fairfield and will come in about a 70 for santa rosa. So again, scattered showers tomorrow amounts going to be very, very modest with all of this. And we will have the flow pattern all next week as onshore. But temperatures somewhat mild round, a teacher. So and you folks in little get treated to a good deal. Sunshine little bit more the way some bay clouds for wednesday. The is with stephanie and wine.
