Mondelez in $1.35bn deal to sell its gum business to Perfetti

Mondelez, a leading F&B group with a major presence in Mideast region through its UAE, Saudi and Bahrain plants, has sold its gum business to candy maker Perfetti in a $1.35 billion deal, as part of its plan to focus on chocolate, biscuit and snacks.
