New Belgium Brewing opened the doors to its new Mission Bay taproom last week, but if you’re expecting just a rehash of its popular beers, don’t.
Rather than importing everything out of its Colorado-based brewery, they’re instead giving the San Francisco taproom more of a local vibe. At the head of all things beer is local brewer Ramon Tamayo, who will lead the localized beer program — and he's been given the green light to explore his tastes in beer, with all things San Francisco in mind.
