NEWS RELEASE: California High-Speed Rail Board Approves Design Contracts to Prepare for Construction into Merced and Bakersfield

Today, the California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) Board of Directors approved contracts to extend design services into Merced and Bakersfield, bringing the project closer toward ultimately delivering on a 171-mile high-speed rail Central Valley segment of the high-speed rail system.
