Pentagon orders audit of its social media campaigns after Twitter, Meta removed pro-U.S. accounts

The review was prompted after research revealed that Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms blocked campaigns aimed at influencing opinion in Central Asia and the Middle East.
