Today in acquisitions: Invigo Media, Crowd Content, Xpertdoc Technologies
Over the past week, three Canadian tech startups have been acquired: Invigo Media, Crowd Content, and Xpertdoc Technologies. Here’s the latest on Canada’s movers and shakers.
Marketing tech services startup Invigo Media acquired by Wishpond
Vancouver-based digital marketing platform Wishpond has reached a deal to acquire all of the assets of Surrey, British Columbia’s Invigo Media, a marketing company that serves medical clinics.
“I believe Invigo can greatly benefit from leveraging Wishpond’s marketing expertise and resources.”
Wishpond has agreed to pay $835,000 for Invigo Media up front, plus a two-year performance earn-out in cash, common shares, or both, based upon Invigo’s adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA). In total, Wishpond said it expects to pay up to $3 million.
