FREMONT, CA — The Fremont Police Department released body-cam video of a deadly officer-involved shooting that happened on March 24. The shooting happened on Highway 84 at Ardenwood Boulevard after a short police chase.
The officer was trying to stop the vehicle because it had been reported stolen. The driver, 34-year-old Joshua James Gloria of Oakland, was also wanted for an armed robbery that was committed in San Francisco.
The suspect struck several other vehicles while fleeing and pulled over because his vehicle became disabled.
