Covid cases in Telangana: 152 new cases of Covid-19 in Telangana, 1 patient succumbs to virus

As many as 2,022 patients are under treatment and 36,058 samples were tested on Monday. The samples tested per million population was over 2.12 lakh.  Hyderabad: Telangana added 152 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the total infection count to over 2.94 lakh while one fatality pushed the toll to 1,602. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 29, followed by Rangareddy and Medchal Malkajgiri with 11 each, a government bulletin said on Tuesday providing details as of 8 pm on February 1. Stage Ready For GHMC Mayor, Deputy Mayor Elections On February 11 Feb 02, 2021, 16:24 IST HYDERABAD: Arrangements are being made for the election of the new Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on February 11 and a gazette with the names of the new corporators was released by the Telangana State Election Commission. As per reports the GHMC Commissioner will conduct the election at 12.30 pm on February 11. However, the election will be held on the same day as per the quorum (number of members required). Without quorum, it will be conducted the next day.
