The 19.3 inches of snow that fell at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport on Monday and Tuesday put it in the top 10 to hit the region.
The National Weather Service in Binghamton is considering the recent wintery weather one big storm, said Adam Gill, meteorologist.
The accumulation totals date back to 1906, when the region was hit with 15 inches of snow. Monday and Tuesdayâs snow sits at No. 7. The storm in March 2017 still holds the No. 1 spot with 23.6 inches of snow.

A few minor accidents and a lot of parking tickets are coming out of the two-and-a-half day storm in the Twin Tiers.
A few scattered school delays and closings remained February 3 as crews continued to work to clear roadways of up to two feet of snow in some areas.

Mayor Richard David February 2 said he was not aware of any vehicles being towed since that was a last resort if motorists didn’t move off the street or to the appropriate side of the street.

Monday s nor easter continues to impact many parts of the Northeast. A winter storm warning remains in effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday, with additional snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches in Otsego, Chenango, Madison and Southern Oneida counties, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton.
Plan for slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning and evening commutes.
Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. In Southern Herkimer County expect additional snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches.
The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a winter storm warning until 7 p.m. Tuesday for Madison, southern Oneida, Chenango, Otsego and southern Herkimer counties.
Watches, Warnings And Up to 2 Feet of Snow for Twin Tiers

The snow fall times and totals vary as the massive storm system pulls in from the west and south and spreads through the Twin Tiers.
NOAA says the Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 7 p.m. February 2 for Broome, Tioga and Delaware Counties with total accumulation of eight to 14 inches possible. The Winter Storm Warning for all of Northeast Pennsylvania, including Susquehanna, Bradford and Wayne Counties is in effect until 1 p.m. February 2 with an expectation of
one to two FEET of snow.
The Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 10 a.m. February 1 to 7 p.m. February 2 for Chenango, Cortland and Tompkins Counties. The National Weather Service is projecting snowfall totals for the watch area to be in the six to 12-inch range.
