(WFIE) - On Wednesday, the Green River District Health Department is reporting seven more COVID-19 related death and 190 additional cases. Of those new cases, 71 are in Daviess County, 48 are in Ohio County, 31 are in Henderson County, 18 are in Hancock County, 13 are in Webster County, seven are in McLean County, and there are two new cases in Union County.

Of those new cases, 119 are in Daviess County, 19 are in Ohio County, 14 are in Henderson County, 13 are in Hancock County, there are eight in both McLean and Webster counties, and six new cases in Union County. Green River health officials say the COVID-19 deaths included two residents of Daviess County and one resident of Henderson County.

COVID-related death of Henderson County resident reported

HENDERSON, Ky. The COVID-related death of a Henderson County resident was reported Thursday by the Green River District Health Department, the 49th COVID-related death in the county since the pandemic began in March. The GRDHD reported 14 new confirmed COVID cases in Henderson County on Thursday, along with eight new cases in Webster County and six in Union County. There were 187 new cases in the seven-county district reported with 119 of those in Daviess County, 19 in Ohio County, 13 in Hancock County and eight in McLean County. The COVID-related deaths of two Daviess County residents were also reported Thursday. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, dropped to 54.0 in Henderson County as of Wednesday afternoon, which held it in the red or critical level. Union County and Webster County remained in the critical level at 42.7 and 46.4, respectively.
