Collinsville felon faces weapons charges

EDWARDSVILLE A Collinsville man faces several weapons-related felony charges after being found in possession of a handgun.
Brandon S. Miller, 38, of Collinsville, was charged May 5 with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a Class 2 felony; and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, a Class 3 felony.
The case was presented by the Collinsville Police Department.
According to court documents, on May 4 Miller allegedly was found to be in possession of a KelTec .40 caliber handgun in a vehicle without a valid concealed carry permit. It was noted that he has a prior conviction for resisting a peace officer out of St. Clair County in 2005, making him ineligible to own a firearm.

EDWARDSVILLE A Wood River man faces a felony weapons charge after being found in possession of a blackjack.
Kinny L. Pauley, also known as Kenneth Pauley and Kenny Pauley, 33, of Wood River, was charged May 4 with unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, a Class 3 felony.
The case was presented by the South Roxana Police Department.
According to court documents, on April 25 Pauley, who has a prior conviction for attempt residential burglary out of Madison County in 2011, allegedly was found to be in possession of a blackjack.
Bail was set at $25,000.
Man charged with battery, threatening officer

EDWARDSVILLE An Alton man was charged Monday with two counts of battery and threatening a public official.
Charles D. Drake, 52, listed as homeless out of Alton, was charged May 3 with aggravated battery and threatening a public official, both Class 2 felonies, and aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony.
The case was presented by the Alton Police Department.
According to court documents, on April 29 Drake allegedly grabbed a woman by the wrist in the parking lot of the U.S. Post Office, 1624 Main St., Alton, struck an Alton Police officer and threatened to take the officer’s gun and shoot them.
Collinsville man charged with meth delivery, conspiracy

EDWARDSVILLE A Collinsville man was charged April 21 with several meth-related felonies, including a Class X felony for conspiracy.
Terry L. King Jr., 36, of Collinsville, was charged April 21 with unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and unlawful methamphetamine conspiracy, both Class X felonies.
The case was presented by the Pontoon Beach Police Department.
According to court documents, on March 22 King allegedly was found to be in possession of between 15-100 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and had also conspired with another person, who had not been charged as of Friday, to deliver the drugs to another person, who has also not been charged.
