For the first time ever, workers are striking at plants for General Motors, ford and stellantis at the same time. The carmakers say despite big profits in recent years, the raises being demanded would drive them out of business. President biden weighing in, saying now is the time for the companies to step up. No one wants a strike. Say it again. No one wants a strike. But i respect workers rights to use their options under the collective bargaining system.
