The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the notification on Tuesday for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 on its official website at -
jeemain.nta.nic.in, only to withdraw it hours later. As per the brochure, from the next academic year, JEE Main will to be held in multiple shifts- February, March, April and May. According to officials, JEE Main exam date has not been decided yet. Registration process for JEE Main 2021 began on December 15. The last date to apply for JEE Main 2021 is January 15, 2021. Candidates can submit the application fee of JEE Main 2021 till January 16. From the next academic year, the JEE Main 2021 will be held in four sessions i.e., from February to May, once a month. The first session of exam will be conducted from February 22 to 25, 2021 followed by next three sessions in March, April, and May 2021. The first shift of JEE Main examination will be from 9 am to 12 pm while the second will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Seventy nine more people have tested positive for coronavirus on the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras campus here, taking the tally in the institution to 183, a senior health official said on Tuesday.
Out of the 978 samples lifted from the IIT-M since December 1, a total of 183 people have tested positive till date and results for 25 specimens alone were yet to be received, Tamil Nadu Health Secretary, J Radhakrishnan said.

The coronavirus vaccine made by Moderna is highly protective for adults and prevents severe cases of COVID-19, according to data released Tuesday by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Based on the encouraging findings, the agency intends to grant emergency authorization for use of the vaccine Friday, people familiar with the FDA’s plans said. The decision would give millions of Americans access to a second coronavirus vaccine beginning as early as next week.
The review by the FDA confirms Moderna’s earlier assessment that its vaccine had an efficacy rate of 94.1% in a trial of 30,000 people. Side effects, including fever, headache and fatigue, were unpleasant but not dangerous, the agency found.
104 IIT-Madras Students Test Positive For Corona Virus Published by GulteDesk December 15, 2020
More than 100 students of IIT Madras have tested positive for Coronavirus. With this massive outbreak, the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras campus has shut down all the departments and labs on the premises.
All the 104 students and others who contracted the disease have undergone tests at King’s Institute of Preventive Medicine and Research, Tamil Nadu and they are said to be doing fine. Though the results showed a 20% positivity rate, there is nothing much to worry as all measures are being taken to check Covid-19 spread, said Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan.
