This week, Delaware County escalated from blue to yellow on the Indiana State Department of Health’s county metrics map. Based on Governor Holcomb’s latest executive order, there are no longer tiered restrictions based on a county’s color ranking. This means there are currently no changes to capacity limits; however, if cases continue to rise locally, the Delaware County Health Department said it may recommend the Delaware County Commissioners to
MUNCIE, Ind. Starting this week, IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital will offer the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine in the Pavilion Community Pharmacy, located in the main lobby of the hospital, according to a release.
This shot requires only one dose, and like all others, it is free to the public. An appointment through the state website at ourshot.in.gov, or by calling 211, is still required.
When choosing the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, the ourshot.in.gov website will list two Ball Memorial vaccine site locations; the one labeled IU Health Pavilion Pharm, should be chosen.
Those interested must also follow state eligibility requirements, which currently stands at any Hoosier age 16 or older. According to the release, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is recommended for patients aged 18 and older.
Police: Muncie man offered officer $50 bribe
That effort resulted in a preliminary bribery charge against 21-year-old Dylan James Moody.
Authorities said they found Moody, of the 1700 block of South Blaine Street, in a fenced-in lot at JNR Trucking, 4500 N. Madison St., about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
A caller had reported a man later identified as Moody had entered an employee s vehicle, then was arguing with employees and refusing to leave.
The Muncie man also is accused of damaging a door when he tried to enter a building at GW Pierce Auto Parts, 4416 S. Madison.
