Two Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges
On the night of Dec. 18, Sedalia Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a registration violation.
At the time of the stop, an occupant of the vehicle fled on foot and the Officer gave chase. The suspect, 34-year-old Aaron Williams, was taken into custody a short distance later without incident.
Officers retraced the steps of the chase and located a firearm that is believed to have been thrown down by Williams when he fled. K9 Charlie was deployed around the vehicle, and alerted to the presence of illegal drugs within the car.

Arrests
Dec. 17 - Payton Thomas Watzke, 35, of Audubon, was arrested for Theft 5th Degree. Watzke appeared before a magistrate and pled guilty.
Dec. 9 - Rickie Don Bohlmann, 65, of Audubon, was arrested for Violation of a No Contact Order. Bohlmann later posted bond and was released.
Dec. 8 - Tauna Jean Bohlmann, 55, of Audubon, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bohlmann posted bond and was released.
Dec. 7 - Shawn Leroy Schmidt, 35, of Audubon, was arrested bu Audubon Police for Driving Under Suspension. Schmidt was released on a promise to appear.
Nov. 18 - Christopher Michael Green, 47, of Audubon, was arrested for Driving While Barred. Green was transported to the Audubon County Jail to appear before a magistrate.

MOULTON, Ala. (WAFF) - One woman is facing multiple charges after deputies say she was using a minor in attempt to smuggle illegal drugs into the Lawrence County Jail.
Brittney Jo Perry, 30 of Russellville, was arrested Monday afternoon after a corrections officer at the Lawrence County Jail was monitoring security surveillance cameras and noticed suspicious behavior from a minor placing trash in a garbage can located inside of the jail.
