A Stop/ Go traffic system is in place on a stretch of the N26 Ballina road outside Foxford, to allow for safety barriers to be installed along a stretch of the road.
That s according to Foxford-based Councillor Neil Cruise, who has welcomed the start of the safety works, as well as tree and bush-cutting along the N26.
Councillor Cruise told Midwest News that it s welcome news for motorists travelling between Foxford and Ballina.
Crews have completed repairs to a burst watermain in Kiltimagh. The second burst in the area in 24 hours affected supply to approximately 50 houses in the Treankeel area. The works were expected to be completed by 4pm this afternoon, and full supply has now…
