Stephen Horton was arrested Jan. 16 on charges that he illegally left vehicles, scrap metal and other debris on State Road 11 in Bunnell. There were 14 reports of illegally dumping in the same location over the past 11 months.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has been working with Flagler County Code Enforcement, the Florida Highway Patrol, and the Florida Department of Transportation on a case of parked vehicles blocking a state right of way and illegal dumping since February 2020. The location of the ordinance violations occurred at 8899 State Road 11 in Bunnell.

A 19-year-old man stabbed a 15-year-old in the chest with a pocketknife at Holland Park on Sunday, Jan. 17, after an argument that began on social media, according to the Flagler County Sheriff s Office.
The 15-year-old was airlifted to an Orlando hospital for treatment for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening. Deputies arrested the 19-year-old, Palm Coast resident Jared Douglas.
“This situation should have never escalated to the point of a juvenile needing to be airlifted to the hospital for a stab wound over a social media fight! An argument on social media between a teenage male and a teenage female at Holland Park in Palm Coast escalated when a third teenager stabbed the male, according to a press release.
The 15-year-old male who was stabbed was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center and suffered what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries, according to the release from the Flagler County Sheriff s Office.
And Jared Douglas, 19, was charged with aggravated battery with permanent disfigurement while armed, according to the release. Douglas was booked into the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility where he was being held on a $25,000 bond. Douglas has no previous arrests in Flagler County, according to the release.

Jan 18, 2021 12:29 PM Palm Coast, FL - An argument at Holland Memorial Park in Palm Coast yesterday evening (January 17) turned into a pushing match and then a stabbing. The Flagler County Sheriff s Office says a 15-year-old male was stabbed in the chest by 19-year-old Jared Douglas. Douglas is being held on a $25,000 bond on a charge of Aggravated Battery with Permanent Disfigurement. The victim was airlifted to a hospital in Orlando for treatment of his injuries, which are believed to be non-life-threatening. According to the report, FCSO arrived at Holland Park at about 6:30 p.m. Numerous witnesses were still on the scene and described the suspect vehicle as a red BMW convertible.
