Drug offender given 25-year prison sentence

MorgueFile A member of a white supremacist prison gang was sentenced to 25 years in prison possessing 10 grams of methamphetamine and a stolen rifle in a case that concluded last Monday in District Court in Weatherford. Chad Michael Brown, 46, of Mineral Wells, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and felon in possession of a firearm before 43rd District Court Judge Craig Towson. Brown received sentences of 25 years for the drug offense and 20 years for the firearms crime, with the sentences to run concurrently. Brown, whose nickname is Wicked, had four prior felony convictions for drug offenses, as well as convictions for burglary of a habitation, burglary of a building, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Fort Worth man arrested in connection with Aledo teen s overdose

MorgeFile Parker County Sheriff’s Office working in collaboration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and Fort Worth Police, spearheaded an investigation leading to the arrest of a suspect in connection with the overdose death of an Aledo teen. Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier said the case stemmed from the death investigation of an 18-year-old teen who died April 13, from an apparent overdose. Law enforcement authorities believe the teen crushed and snorted one-quarter of a round, blue tablet marked “M30 that we believe was sold to him as Percocet.” Parker County Special Crimes Unit (SCU) and Criminal Investigations Division (CID) began the investigation discovering the identity of the person who supplied the teen with the drugs on the day he died. The suspect has been identified as Brosnon Marquis Ashton, 29, of Fort Worth.

A North Texas woman has been arrested in connection with the deaths of her two children from extreme heat exposure after they were found locked inside a car last month, the Parker County Sheriff’s Office says. Cynthia Marie Randolph, 24, was charged Friday with two first-degree felony counts of injury to a child causing serious bodily injury.

Special to the Weatherford Democrat Apr 29, 2021 Apr 29, 2021 Editor s note: The suspect was apprehended by patrol deputies at 2:52 p.m. in the 7500 block of Old Brock Road. A concerned citizen saw a social media post relating to a wanted suspect. The citizen saw Andrew Ward Klein, 19, and notified the Parker County Sheriff s Office. He was apprehended by Parker County Patrol deputies at 2:52 p.m. in the 7500-block of Old Brock Road.   The Parker County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted person in connection with several outstanding warrants, including felony narcotics charges. The suspect is identified as Andrew Ward Klein, a 19-year-old white male, who is 6-feet, 3-inches tall, weighing approximately 190 lbs., with blue eyes and short, dark brown hair. Klein has a light skin tone and has a small scar over his right eye, as well as tattoos on his left arm and both ears pierced.
