Cloud, 16, Lisbon, was cited with failure to control, operating a vehicle without a valid license and juvenile traffic offender after he traveled off the road on 10th Street Extension in Yellow Creek Township and struck a ditch at 5:30 p.m. Monday. Regina S. Marker, 33, Salem, was cited with improper left turn and failure to reinstate license after her vehicle was struck when she failed to yield and turned into the path of a vehicle driven by Nathaniel S. McCluskey, 33, Lisbon, on state Route 172 in Hanover Township at 2:37 p.m. Saturday. Two passengers in McCluskey’s vehicle, a 7-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl, were both injured. The 7-year-old sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The 10-year-old sustained minor injuries and was not transported.

Mar 11, 2021 SEBRING – An 18-year-old Sebring resident is facing several obscenity charges after police say they found child pornography in his home. Cameron Scmid, East Oregon Avenue, has been charged with 20 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, a fourth-degree felony after Sebring police seized items from his home in September and turned them over to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation for analysis, according to news partner WKBN-TV. Sebring police were alerted by the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Schmid was taken to the Mahoning County Jail. His bond was set at $80,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned today in Sebring court.

Staff Writer LISBON A Pennsylvania man accused of assaulting a deputy while attempting to flee his court hearing in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court on Friday now faces charges in County Municipal Court. A March 15 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Richard E. Chludzinski, 47, New Galilee, Pa., charged with assault of a peace officer and resisting arrest after allegedly assaulting Deputy Ryan Pike on the courthouse steps. Pike reportedly was attempting to stop him from fleeing the Common Pleas Courthouse on Friday after Chludzinski left the area on the second floor where the Common Pleas courtrooms are located. Chludzinski had been there being sentenced for a felony four level OVI charge before Judge Scott Washam, but had tried to leave instead.

SALEM Danielle Stanley, 32, of East Sixth Street, was charged with disorderly conduct and taken to the Columbiana County jail after police were called at 12:48 a.m. Tuesday to the 200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue for an intoxicated person. Officers made contact with the female, who refused to give officers any form of identification. Once she was identified, she refused to give officers her address and also refused to call a family member for a ride. Stanley then said, “take me to jail, I need to go to jail.” So officers took her into custody, charged her and took her to jail.
