I consider that it is a historic ruling, because it is talking not only about the right to life but to a dignified life; all people have the fundamental right to live and but to live with dignity, she pointed out. The Prime Minister said the case of Ana Estrada has shown in recent years her suffering and the deterioration of her health, a condition that at this time is unfortunately more dramatic and irreversible.

Nowadays, vaccination is carried out based on the schedules managed by doctors, nurses, and other health professionals who work on the frontline caring for COVID-19 patients. However, the high-ranking official affirmed that the number of vaccinators which currently stands at 1,000 will increase as additional vaccine doses arrive.  The Ministry of Health (Minsa) has recruited a little more than 15,000 vaccinators and 10,000 Armed Forces members have been trained for the purpose. So, our army of vaccinators will expand greatly, she emphasized.

UK donates ventilators for Peru s COVID-19 patients | News | ANDINA

The Peruvian Ministry of Health on Friday received a donation of 60 mechanical and 40 multi-parameter ventilators from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This donation exceeded US$700,000. The equipment will be destined for various hospitals nationwide where critical and moderate patients affected by COVID-19 are being treated. We appreciate this donation for the value it has in saving lives. Likewise, I want to emphasize that the collaboration from the United Kingdom to the Peruvian health system is historical and very friendly, he said. In turn, Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez expressed gratitude for this act of solidarity.
