RICHMOND, Va. More than 180 additional COVID-19 patients have been discharged from Virginia hospitals in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA).
The VHHA reports a total of 31,368 hospitalized COVID-19 patients have been discharged, an increase from 31,182 (+186) patients since Saturday s update.
Hospitalizations have decreased in Virginia over the last 24 hours.
There are currently 2,708 patients in hospitals who are either positive or whose test results are pending, down from 2,710 (-2) Saturday, according to the VHHA. Officials said 2,402 (+1) of those patients have COVID-19 while 306 (-3) have tests pending.

The Virginia Department of Health released their daily updated numbers involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
According to their website, there are now 358,755 total cases, 299,963 of which are confirmed and 58,792 are probable. There are 5,117 total COVID-19 related deaths, with 4,509 being confirmed and 608 being probable. The case numbers are up by 3,989, and deaths are up by 36 since Friday.
A total of 4,337,939 COVID-19 PCR tests have now been given in Virginia.
The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association also updated their numbers. As of Saturday, there are 2,401 people currently being hospitalized, confirmed with COVID-19. The VHHA reports a total of 31,82 hospitalized COVID-19 patients have been discharged, an increase from 30,964 (+218) patients since Friday s update.
Hospitalizations have decreased in Virginia over the last 24 hours.
There are currently 2,710 patients in hospitals who are either positive or whose test results are pending, down from 2,754 (-44) Friday, according to the VHHA. Officials said 2,401 (-13) of those patients have COVID-19 while 309 (-31) have tests pending.
