A 20-year-old Kearny man has been arrested after authorities say he harassed girls as young as 15 years old for sexually explicit photos.
Justin T. Davison was arrested Wednesday at his job in Glen Rock and charged with multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a child and cyber harassment, as well as three counts of lewdness and one count of criminal sexual contact against a total of eight victims ranging in age from 15 to 19.

U.S. District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo sentenced Jamel Armfield, 20, of Jersey City, previously convicted of three felonies, to 60 months in prison for illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition in connection with a June 2020 Jersey City shooting.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Armfield previously pleaded guilty by videoconference before Arleo to an indictment charging him with one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
On June 24, 2020, Armfield fired nine rounds of ammunition at a moving vehicle on Gates Avenue in Jersey City from a .45 caliber Springfield Armory semi-automatic handgun, Model XD-45 ACP. He also had in his possession several rounds .45 caliber ammunition.

Jamel Armfield, 20, of Jersey City, previously pleaded guilty by videoconference before U.S. District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo to an indictment charging him with one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
Arleo imposed the 60-month sentence earlier today.
On June 24, 2020, Armfield knowingly possessed a .45 caliber Springfield Armory semi-automatic handgun, Model XD-45 ACP, and 14 rounds of .45 caliber ammunition when he fired nine rounds of ammunition from that handgun at a moving vehicle traveling on Gates Avenue in Jersey City.
The motive and intended target(s) remain unknown. The shooting was captured on a nearby surveillance camera. The firearm was then hidden by Armfield and recovered by members of the Jersey City Police Department and it contained five additional rounds of ammunition.
Authorities investigating suspicious death of Jersey City man found in his apartment

A 47-year-old man was found dead in his Jersey City apartment Saturday morning, authorities said Sunday.
The man’s death is being investigated by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and the Jersey City Police Department as “suspicious,” the prosecutor’s office said on Twitter Sunday morning.
The man lived on Griffith Street between Summit and Central avenues, the prosecutor’s office said. No other information was released.
If it is ruled a homicide, it would be the 13th homicide in Hudson County and 10th in Jersey City in 2021. An additional death, the body of a man found along Route 440 in Bayonne last month, is still considered suspicious, pending the autopsy results.
Authorities were probing the death of a 47-year-old Jersey City man Sunday afternoon.
The man was found dead in his apartment Sunday morning on Griffith Street between Summit and Central avenues, the Hudson County Prosecutor s Office said.
No further information was being released.
