A bus accident in Mexico killed 16 people, while 14 people were injured due to the collision. According to AZ Central, the accident happened at around 3:36 a.m. Tuesday in the south of the Arizona-Mexico border, specifically near the entrance of the Noche Buena Mine. The Latest Bus Accident in Mexico Mexico News Daily reported that a bus carrying mine workers and a van carrying tourists had crashed head-on at kilometer 156 of the Caborca-Sonoyta highway. Images of the crash site showed that the two vehicles had obstructed the two-lane road following the tragic incident. The Sonora Attorney General's Office said that all of the 16 passengers traveling in the van died on the scene, while the 14 people inside the bus were rushed to hospitals in Caborca.
