A Dallas-based generic drug startup bearing Mark Cuban’s name just came out of stealth
The Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company touts ‘radically transparent, low cost versions of high cost generic drugs.’
A new Dallas-based generic drug company emerged from stealth mode last week and it’s got Dallas billionaire Mark Cuban’s name all over it.
The startup is called Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, and its website pledges to provide low-cost versions of high-cost generic drugs with “radical transparency” about how it prices its drugs.
The company was originally named Osh’s Affordable Pharmaceuticals after its founder and CEO Alex Oshmyansky. It launched in 2018 and, spurred by a cold email pitch, received backing from Cuban shortly after.
