Students of the Adamawa State Polytechnic on Monday went on rampage after alleging theft of the "private parts of six male students." The students who went berserk shut down the school and blocked the Galadima Aminu Way, one of the major highways, passing in front of the polytechnic gate, leading to the concentration of banks in Yola, the state capital. They also set fire on tyres to keep away motorists. However, a detachment of security operatives, comprising the military, police and civil defence was drafted to quell the uproar.
