The advice from a Highworth travel agent and the prime minister comes amid reports that thousands of people had already headed or have booked upcoming flights for destinations such as France, Greece, Spain and the USA. Claire Waldron of Highworth Travel said: "For amber-listed countries, I would advise against travelling to them as your travel insurance might not cover the trip." Prime minister Boris Johnson gave similar guidance earlier this week: "I think it's very important for people to grasp what an amber list country is: it is not somewhere where you should be going on holiday, let me be very clear about that.
