It was the first time in four years that Barty failed to get on the scoreboard in a set as world No 7 Sabalenka overpowered her in the opener at Caja Mágica. Barty went into the Madrid showpiece match on Saturday having not been bagelled in four years while over the course of her career she only lost a set 6-0 on eight occasions. Simply stunning.
