On today's program: Residents and farmers in Carnarvon, in WA's north-west, are beginning to assess the damage from a "once-in-a-decade flood". Heavy rain from a tropical low caused flooding last week, setting rainfall records in Carnarvon and parts of the Gascoyne. Situated on the banks of the Gascoyne river, Carnarvon and it's irrigated farms were devastated by floods back in 2010. But this time it appears flood levees, built since then, have spared the region from such severe damage and banana growers have welcomed the rain and extra water in the catchment.
