DENVER – The chairman of the newly formed Independent Congressional Redistricting Commission in Colorado has been removed from his role after scrutiny over social media posts where he touted unfounded claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election and referred to the coronavirus as the “China virus.”
Commissioners voted unanimously on Monday to remove Republican Danny Moore after he refused to resign voluntarily, citing concerns about his ability to lead the panel impartially and maintain public confidence in the commission, The Colorado Sun reported.
