COP28 begins in Dubai as world on track to surpass critical

The 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference will be held from Nov. 30-Dec. 12 at Expo City in Dubai. The 21st meeting of the COP led to the Paris Agreement, which led to actions being implemented to prevent global temperature anomalies from rising above 1.5 degrees Celsius.
