The COVID-19 vaccine is available across Florida. Demand is very high and supplies are limited. Number of Floridians vaccinatedFEMA vaccine sites A FEMA vaccine site is open in Orlando at Valencia College’s west campus off Kirkman Road. The mass vaccination sites are a partnership between the federal and state governments.The sites is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. according to the state. One-hundred-thirty-nine soldiers traveled to Orlando from Fort Campbell in Kentucky to help at the site, the Pentagon said on Wednesday. According to the U.S. Army, they will be able to vaccinate up to 3,000 people a day.FEMA said that every Floridian who meets the state’s criteria can get a shot at their site. According to FEMA, people can preregister by visiting myvaccine.fl.gov or calling their county’s designated phone number. Orange County: The Florida Department of Health in Orange County is distributing the COVID-19 vaccine to qualified individuals at the Orange County Convention Center.Residents can make an appointment by visiting the CDR HealthPRO system here.
