middle as the right. that's what they're trying to do, the middle. >> look, usually midterm elections are referendums on the president of the united states. and the president has a low approval rating. what do you do in that situation? you try and bring the other side down as well. i'm not sure that type of strategy necessarily works in a midterm election because historically speaking voters have not voted about how they feel about the opposition party. they vote how they feel about the president party. that's why we are seeing that democrats are still ahead of republicans. >> let's look at some of these key races because this is a graph showing congressional districts that currently have a republican representative but have at least 50% hispanic voting age population, which you might age that is good for democrats. let's hold this up for here for a bit. tell us what we are seeing here. >> these are republicans hold these districts. there are a lot of latinos in these districts. hillary clinton did well in
